kab chair

Kab is a small armchair that features a sinuous wrap-around seat. It is made from a steel-molded base, padded in polyurethane foam, and covered in leather. The initial design was created with a full leather option in mind; it would feature a laser-cut steel base that was covered and hand-stitched in leather. First produced in 2004, Kab now comes in a more affordable option, featuring steel legs and a swiveling four-star base. It was designed during my tenure at Karim Rashid Inc. and is currently produced by Italian manufacturer Estel.
